Doors and frames
Engineered hardwood doors: a solid hardwood core with oak veneer on both faces, in hardwood frames, grain-matched to the panelling around them. Acoustic rating up to STC 32.
Specification
For guest room corridors
A corridor of guest room doors is one of the longest runs of timber in a hotel. When doors come from a different supplier to the panelling, the difference shows along the whole corridor.
Ours are veneered and finished with the panelling and floor, so the corridor reads as one surface.
Acoustic and fire ratings
Our doors reach an acoustic rating of up to STC 32. Tell us the rating your acoustic engineer sets for each door type.
Fire doors must be certified for the country they're installed in. Tell us the rating each door needs, and we'll confirm what we can supply before we quote.
Questions
What does STC 32 mean?
Sound Transmission Class is a rating for how well a door or wall blocks airborne sound. A higher number blocks more. Our doors reach up to STC 32.
Can the doors match the panelling and floor?
Yes. They're grain-matched to the panelling and share the floor's species, brushing, gloss and coating.
Do you supply frames and architraves?
Yes. Hardwood frames, with architraves in the floor's finish.
Working through a door schedule?
