Engineered oak flooring
European oak with a solid oak wear layer of 3 to 6 mm on a stable core, prefinished at the mill and glued down. Plank, herringbone and chevron, in standard sizes or made to your specification. In the US, this is engineered hardwood flooring.

Standard sizes
Made to order
- Planks up to 300 mm wide and 3 m long
- Your colour tone, texture, gloss and grade, matched to your samples
- Minimum quantities apply per custom finish, sized for large projects
For guest rooms, lobbies and residences
Guest rooms take luggage, trolleys and housekeeping every day. The thicker the wear layer, the more times the floor can be sanded and refinished over its life.
For lobbies, herringbone and chevron give the floor a pattern that reads across a large room. The Foundation runs herringbone from the residents' lobby into the lift cars, with wide plank through the apartments.
Glued down, never floated
We supply these floors to be glued down. Floated, they're more likely to move, squeak and sound hollow underfoot.
In multi-level buildings, your acoustic engineer sets the underlay or mat beneath the floor. We work to the build-up they specify.
Questions
What wear layer should a hotel floor have?
Our floors come with wear layers from 3 mm to 6 mm. The thicker the layer, the more times it can be sanded and refinished. For guest rooms and public areas, we suggest 3 mm or more.
How wide can the planks be?
Standard planks run from 190 mm to 260 mm wide. Made to order, up to 300 mm wide and 3 m long.
What finish do you use?
Our standard is an extra matt lacquer. We supply from extra matt to matt, 3 to 7% gloss.
Can you match an existing floor or sample?
Yes. Send the sample. We match its species, grade, colour tone, texture and gloss, and send master samples for sign-off.
Need sizes or samples?
