Wall and ceiling panelling
European oak or American walnut veneer on stable boards, extra matt at 3 to 6% gloss, finished to sit with the floor. Called wood paneling in the US and wall cladding in the Gulf.

Standard sizes
Made to order
- Panel sizes and profiles to your drawings
- Ceiling linings in the wall panelling's finish
- Your colour tone, texture and gloss, matched to the floor
For lobbies, suites and corridors
Panelling carries the floor's finish up the wall and, with ceiling linings, across the ceiling. Doors and joinery in the same veneer complete the room.
At Huka Lodge, we supplied the floors, wall panelling and ceiling linings in a single palette.
Fire classification
Wall panelling in hotel corridors and lobbies usually needs a fire classification: an ASTM E84 rating in the US, or one Civil Defence accepts in the UAE.

Questions
What veneer do you use?
0.6 mm European oak or American walnut veneer, on HDF or moisture-resistant MDF depending on the product.
Will the panels match the floor?
They share its species, brushing, gloss and coating. A 0.6 mm veneer can't take as deep a brush as a floorboard, so where they sit together we brush both to a depth the veneer can hold.
How are the wall panels fixed?
Our wall panelling comes as 150 mm boards, 2700 mm long, click-jointed, pinned and glued.
Do you supply ceiling linings?
Yes, in the same finish as the wall panelling.
